Makin’ Me Fall

This song was originally written for my husband in November of 2013. I was putting off studying during finals week at seminary.  The guitar chords and lyrics appeared so quickly that the Pentateuch flash cards just had to wait.

Makin’ Me Fall

Who do you think you are makin’ me fall for you?
Who do you think you are makin’ my dreams come true?
Who do you think you are makin’ me fall for you?
Who do you think you are after all?

Sunshine in my soul is what you give me.
Sunshine in my soul is what you give to me.
With each of my heart’s patter, worries no longer matter,
And I can’t believe how hard I fall.

The best in me is what you see in me.
The best in me is what you see in me.
Whenever I let you down, forgiveness does abound,
And you love me through it all.

Beautiful tomorrows are what I foresee.
Beautiful tomorrows are what I foresee.
As we grow side by side, keep in fallin’ over time.
So-go one, keep on makin’ me fall.

So-go on, keep on. Go on, keep on.
Go on, keep on, makin’ me fall.
